BEAUTIFIED IMPACT

Can beautified images have impact? The SEM images have been edited of background noise that was captured in the original images. Allowing focus on the seeds makes us consider whether they distract from their narrative or does it work in harmony to bring attention to them? Our relation to scientific imagery is conceptual and naturally we create visual analogies to explain the unfamiliar.
